Crossroads
São Paulo - SP, Brazil. 2018

This research investigates the presence of the Black body in dance, rituals, and the arts. Conducted by researchers from the Center for Studies in Black Corporealities throughout 2018 at the Alfredo Volpi Cultural Workshop under the coordination of Kelly Santos, it was based on studies of the work *Irmandade da Boa Morte e Culto de Babá Egum: Masculinidades, Feminilidades e Performances Negras* (Brotherhood of the Good Death and Cult of Babá Egum: Masculinities, Femininities and Black Performances), by the Bahian anthropologist Dr. Joanice Conceição.
