The exhibition addresses the relevance and impact of perhaps the most celebrated of Brazilian writers, famous for his creativity and critical perspective. The exhibition features documents that recount the life and work of the novelist, playwright, poet, chronicler, and sorcerer (of Cosme Velho), including manuscripts, first editions of his books, photos, letters, and items from Machado's personal library.
